First Floor Grandeur

When acquired this flat was a poorly laid out three bed, occupying the grand reception rooms of a Victorian townhouse. It had been poorly designed by the previous developer, who tried to add as many rooms as possible. The end result was an awkward flat with mezzanine bathrooms and odd shaped rooms.

We secured consent from the freeholder to turn it into a 2 bed/2 bath with a separate, galleried study. Removing the third bedroom enabled us to recreate the original front drawing room of the townhouse, along with its period features and 3.6m high ceilings.

We went on to refurbish the flat to a very high standard, with hand finished oak floors, marble clad bathrooms and two beautiful terraces, front and rear.

The flat was fully dressed, before being sold for over £1600/sq ft - a record for the road.
