Victorian Garden Flat

This flat was totally dilapidated when purchased. There were no ceilings or floors at all and it had been empty for a few years, as the previous owner ran out of money at the start of the build.

We totally redesigned the layout, creating a large master suite in what was the original 'ante' room of the house. To the rear we carried out major structural works, adding a large side return extension with a glazed roof. This enabled us to create a substantial open-plan living area, leading straight out into the walled garden. In the middle of the flat there was a double second bedroom and a family bathroom.

In the basement we created a contemporary wine cellar with storage for 150 bottles of wine.
