This flat occupied the first and second floor uppers above a wine merchants at the favoured end of Shirland Road.
We obtained planning to add a 500 sq ft terrace on top of the property, accessed via an electronic roof hatch. We then set about a complex construction process, taking the building 'back to brick' and installing some 15 steel beams to reinforce the structure and open the floors up as required.
The end result was a beautiful 3 bed/2 bath duplex flat, with high ceilings and one of the most impressive terraces in Maida Vale.
The property was fully dressed and sold for, what was at the time, the most expensive price per square foot for a flat above a commercial unit.
