Art Deco Penthouse

This duplex flat occupies the second and third floors of an Art Deco building, constructed c.1935, as part of the 'Harbour Heights Estate', positioned on the headland that leads down to the Sandbanks peninsula.

We were asked to redesign the space to create a contemporary apartment, ideal for entertaining and hosting visiting family and friends. To achieve this, major structural works were necessary.

To the second floor we created three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a stunning 30ft kitchen/dining/living space, leading into a winter garden, with views over Poole Harbour to the West. The third floor sun room was turned into a 'party room' at the clients' request with a bar, guest toilet and living space. This sun drenched room leads out onto a huge roof terrace with panoramic views over The Channel, Poole Harbour and the woodland to the East of the property.
